Design and settings are more overwhelming and tedious than FreeCommander XE.Not fully dark mode, or is it just me? It's the best dark mode on this list (aside from Files).I know some people don't like it when things are subscription based. You can also buy a subscription for two years. Buying the Donor version will only give you updates for a year. You need to disable automatic updates to stop this from happening Similar to WinRAR, it's more annoying since you open it regularly. On free version they will bug you all the time about a new update you won't receive because you haven't donated. You can still access these directories and files regardless. You can't see system files on windows 64bit (You need the 64bit version of FreeCommander XE, which is not free). There is a bug when changing the thumbnail size, the button may stop working and you may have to restart the application to change the size.I saw it before while browsing, and tried it after Total Commander was suggested. I recommend looking into the forums for more color schemes, there's one topic that has every color scheme and there's more than one page in this topic. The color schemes are very customizable, but they are in multiple places around the settings. Not fully dark mode, dark mode is better than Q-Dir though.Someone says this program tends to have bugs, because of this it may not be a good suggestion.Search is very bad for me, it always shows no results. It doesn't instantly load files like others. This might not be an issue on faster machines The bigger the file the more it loads, I am not sure if it will always be tolerable.
